A German court agreed to keep an injunction in place, which Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL - News) had earlier requested and won, to ban the sale of Samsung's new Galaxy Tab tablet in the country. It will rule on Sept. 9 after hearing arguments from Samsung and iPad maker Apple, which argues that the Galaxy copies its design. Samsung had hoped for a ruling in its favor before Europe's biggest consumer electronics fair opens next week. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG - News) agreed last week to buy Motorola Mobility (NYSE:MMI - News) and its patent library for $12.5 bil, in part to avoid patent suits. Apple dipped 0.7% to 373.72.
