Leaving Davao is never that easy. That meant i?d have to learn to love Manila?s pollution, traffic, costly lifestyle, and fast-paced life.
But that thought is supposedly closed and dealt with. It?s suppose to be a ? hello Manila? with the happiest hubby waiting for me in the airport.
Id rather start this blog with a happy entry so i?ll do some rerouting and talk about my business class trip, instead.
Luck bit me a month before leaving Davao. I won the grand prize of Philippine Airline?s raffle for the media during a launching of an event. So happy, i immediately chose a date for my trip and that coincided with the approval of the Secretary for my transfer to Manila. It?s a double treat for me, actually. And i don?t know how to thank PAL and the boss for making those two wishes come true. i hope this blog will reach PAL management and they couldhear my sincere gratitude for the opportunity.
Honestly, it was my first time to fly BUSINESS CLASS.
Wearing my comfy loafies, i boarded the plane with too much excitement. I quickly studied the buttons and the instructions to have my tired feet rested.
Guess what? I was welcome by a familiar face who called me by my surname. The flight attendant turned out to be a classmate of my youngest sister. He knew me coz they?re close. It felt awkward at first being served and pampered by someone you know but eventually i just forgot that thought and enjoyed every minute.
Welcome drink.
A tea for Me.
And the bunch of lunch!!!
There was no one adjacent my seat so i really felt the entire business class is for me. So SOSY!
But the awkward thing is the thought that my Director General is seated at the Fiesta Class while the regular employee is in the business class corner. Well, well, well..it?s not my fault to have been gifted with this kind of luck.
Lastly, i wanna say my heartfelt thanks to PAL. I still have a one way business class ticket which i?ll be using anytime soon.
Ciao, for now.
