Aftermath is the fourth DLC for Battlefield 3 that was released in December that includes four new maps, new vehicle types, one new game mode called scavenger and the all new crossbow. We ask our fellow SSKM members about their thoughts and these are their response.
Piekingisback:?Aftermath? What can i say. It?s by far the best map pack since B2K, but it?s a bit to big i think. It?s like running everywhere on Oman, annoying. I wish Scavenger didn?t use the CQA styled maps, everything is taken to fast and way to spread out. Other then that i love it, but more air vehicles
gazzab1701:?I was merely okay on ps3, but on Xbox, an easy 9/10.
bulldog180:?All i can say i love the maps and when i know where i am going on them it will be even better
Barricade:?i just think its a?bare-bones?version of conquest domination. nothing that?special.
gonetothelight:?map pack great. scavenger not so much.?don?t?like running around that much
Mrobin180:?I think the map packs are awesome, you can also camouflager?well with the environment that you are in. Which makes for the easier kills unfortunately being hit with crossbow is no fun, come on one hit kills with the xbow or crossbow and it?s not a?head-shot?to me that?s pretty cheesy!
Dirk Pike:?Mainly played Rush, plays very well.. scavenger mode is not for me
Belltronz:?Maps are fantastic. Loads of flank routes and when you get in a fight it?s always dynamic and exciting.
Bruigtx50:?Scavenger is like a sucky version of the gun game IMO. Definitely going to have to get out of the tanks more often and work on my urban combat skills.
ElectroMonkey:?IMO Aftermath is the best expansion for maps, but the crossbow was just a waste of man hours :/
Scavenger mode also isn?t that great, i just found myself being repetitively getting killed off the spawn by someone camping the weapon drops? Conquest and rush modes are extremely enjoyable though.
Vivisector999:?I like the new maps. I don?t have a clue where I am yet, but they are alot of fun. Also scavenger mode I think is great. WAY better then Gun Master. The big bonuses you get/have to use weapons you wouldn?t normally use, and same for the enemy.
Ascaperuneplaya:?Not too fond of Epicenter Conquest but the maps are solid. Rush on the AM maps are pretty good. My thoughts on Xbow?.:
Get killed by an Xbow ? ?Oh FFS you got to be kidding me?
Killing someone with an Xbow ? ?Bahahaha this thing is awesome?
